After a looong summer break the Towers take the field again Saturday at 15.00. Division rival Slagelse Wolfpack host the Towers at Gl. Slagelse Stadion.
The Towers beat the Wolfpack in a high-powered thriller on May 30th. The game was decided in overtime by the score 21-20. That game was played in driving rain, but both teams still managed to move the ball well through the air.
The game will be played in the shade of a tragic event. During the summer break Wolfpack lineman Rasmus Petersen passed away. The Wolfpack will honor their lost friend before the game. The entire Towers organization expresses our deep sympathies to the Wolfpack and especially Rasmus' family and friends.
The rematch looks like a sunny affair, so it would be fair to expect another installment of the Towers Airshow - starring QB JR Artozqui and his host of talented receivers William Elias, Jens Bo Fræk and Patrick Hargett among others.Share this article on your facebook wall:
