Torsdag d. 15 December kl. 20.00 afholder Copenhagen Towers et informationsmøde på Gentofte Stadion. På mødet orienteres om fremtidsperspektiverne og den forestående sæson for Towers' seniorhold.
The Copenhagen Towers went to Vejle, to face the Razorbacks, in an already thrilling game. The winner would play in the Mermaid Bowl. The Razorbacks could be the first team in Danish history, to play the Mermaid Bowl 6 years in a row. The team from the capital could play their Mermaid Bowl number 7 since 1989. The game ended in a disappointing defeat, Triangle Razorbacks won 23-13.
Towers president Martin Ægidius has announced that the Towers have already secured that QB JR Artozqui will be back in purple in 2012. The popular QB signed a contract for the 2012 season earlier this week.
The Towers knew that the success that Artozqui – and the Towers – has enjoyed the past two seasons would make him a hot commodity among football organizations all over Europe. Therefore it was imperative for the organization to make sure that Artozqui never hit the free market.
The Towers came off a convincing win against the Herlev Rebels in the last game of the regular season and showed no sign of letting up in the play-offs. The team rolled to 24 unanswered first half points and added another 7 in the second.
On Saturday the Towers went to Herlev to play the Rebels in a game to determine home field advantage in the wild-card round of the playoffs. Although the first meeting in April had been a clear Towers win, the Rebels’ recent improvement suggested that this game would be closer. It turned out that it was – for a while. On Saturday the Towers go to Herlev to finish up the regular season. The re-match with the Rebels will determine the matchups for the wild card round of the playoffs, which takes place only one week later. Both teams are 6-3, both teams have qualified for the playoffs, and neither team is able to earn a bye in the wild card round. There is still something at stake, however.

In late April the Towers faced the Knights in the second game of the season. The Towers won that contest 48-10 and improved to 2-0. Now it’s time for the re-match. The Towers have generally played well against weaker teams this season and must do so again on Friday.

A toothless flock of Tigers saw their season end at Gentofte Stadium courtesy of a 31-0 Towers win in the wild card round of the 2011 play-offs.
It is conventional football wisdom that penalties and turnovers kill you. On Friday the Knights fulfilled that wisdom by committing six turnovers. The Towers, on the other hand, won 34-0 despite committing 17 penalties.
The Towers return home to take on the rejuvenated Kronborg Knights under the artificial lights of Gentofte Stadium. Coming off a short week since last Sunday’s landslide win over the Demons, the Towers must prove that the team can keep the steam up.
